Aftermath of the marches....

....there wasn't really any.  Thankfully, there weren't any outbreaks of violence or major confrontation between those for and those against the government.  In my opinion for this country, that in and of itself is a huge accomplishment.  The only out of the ordinary event for me that day was having breakfast with a police officer.  I decided to spend the day at a friend's house, so as we were on the way there, a police officer (one of hundreds out on the streets that day to control the situation) hailed us down in the roundabout and "asked" us to take him to get some breakfast.  He wasn't really forceful about it or anything, but it was like "well, we're not very well able to say no to him, right?" So we went and had a yummy breakfast, hanging out with the officer.  Clearly, we paid for his breakfast (obviously. duh. !) haha...it was an interesting experience, for sure.  The rest of the day passed without incidence.
