Hey everyone! Today was SO MUCH FUN! it was our adventure day, and we went up to these waterfalls that were INCREDIBLE. we rapelled 3 different times, starting small with a 15 footer, then doing a 50 foot waterfall, and ending with a grand finale of an 85 foot vertical cliff right next to a gorgeous waterfall. it was so amazing and i think it's been the best day i've had since we've been here.
yesterday was pretty awesome though too! we had a day of solitude, where we just went off by ourselves for the day and sat and had a quiet day, reading, sleeping, listening for God's voice and just spending time with Him. it was so incredibly refreshing after the 2 days before that.
monday and tuesday we did community service, working on the old guy's house that burnt down. we laid cinderblocks for 2 days straight. and monday night we did a homestay with some of the girls in the staff's bible study. it was a great experience but the worst night's sleep i've ever had, so i was EXHAUSTED.
I'm missing everyone lots and hope you all are well! I'll be in town again on saturday and hopefully will be able to update again, although i probably won't have too much to say if i do!
