La Primera

Well, here's my first official blog post! I'll be keeping this up as much as possible this spring so that everyone can know what I'm up to. I'm going to the Dominican Republic (it's in the Caribbean, east of Cuba, west of Puerto Rico, on the same island as Haiti) for 6 weeks to be an intern at a Young Life camp called Pico Escondido (Hidden Peak). As of right now I have absolutely no clue what I'll be doing down there. The camp property itself is not fully developed yet, so maybe I'll be doing construction projects, which would be totally awesome, but then again maybe I'll be working with kids! Even though it's not finished, they can hold up to 100 ish campers already.

God is going to do awesome things in me and through me during this trip, and I can't wait to see how He'll work! I'll post again when I find out anything new.

Oh yeah and I'll try to upload pictures while I'm down there...if I can figure it out. lol
